I can only say Wow. My laptop's screen died. As a Real Estate agent, I am VERY dependent on it. On deivery, the lady was VERY friendly. I'd expected the laptop to be OOO for a week, whilst parts were being sought, but to my amaizement, within 2 hours, they had if fixed. I am VERY happy.

Extremely disappointed with the service I received. On Friday, we agreed that my laptop screen would be replaced with a touchscreen. After waiting almost two hours, I was only then informed that the wrong screen had been installed. Instead of the touchscreen I paid for, they had fitted a non touchscreen screen and only realized it afterwards. This should have been checked before installation, not after wasting my time.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that Angela tried shifting the blame onto their supplier, saying that it was not their fault. While I understand that suppliers can make mistakes, that is not something that should be pushed onto a client. I paid the company directly, not the supplier, which means it was still their responsibility to ensure the correct screen was ordered and installed before handing the laptop back to me.
To be fair, Angela was polite and apologetic, and I do appreciate that she offered to drop the laptop off at my house and collect it again on Monday when the correct screen arrived. However, the overall handling of the situation was still very unprofessional.
On Monday, after fitting the “correct” screen, I was told that the touchscreen functionality was not working due to firmware issues. It later became clear that they had tried to install a generic touchscreen instead of an original Dell touchscreen screen, despite charging me under the impression that I would be receiving the proper compatible replacement. Naturally, the touchscreen function did not work correctly.
I eventually chose to take a refund instead of continuing with the repair process. When my laptop was returned to me, it was in worse condition than before. My original broken screen had been further damaged, the laptop casing was not put back together properly and is now coming apart, and there was even a scratch left near the area where they had been removing the casing.
Overall, this experience was frustrating, time wasting, and careless. While Angela at least tried to assist, the workmanship, accountability, and quality control from the company were unacceptable.
