Evolve IT Store Terms and Conditions
30-DAY COLLECTION & PAYMENT POLICY
Uncollected or unpaid equipment after 30 days will be scrapped, recycled, or sold to recover costs. We are not liable for loss, damage, or data once this time has lapsed. Quotes valid for 7 days. Items not accepted for delivery within 7 days may be subject to disposal.
SPARES & LABOUR
All spares fitted remain the property of Evolve I.T. until fully paid.
Once work has been approved, it cannot be reversed or cancelled. Labour and diagnostics remain billable.
STORAGE FEES
Customers are required to collect purchased, repaired, diagnosed, or unrepaired devices within 5 (five) working days of being notified that the device is ready for collection.
Devices not collected within this period will incur a storage fee of R50.00 per day, per item, commencing from the 1st working day after notification.
By booking in a device, the customer acknowledges and accepts these storage charges.
WORK GUARANTEE
We offer a 3-month guarantee on workmanship and new parts supplied.
Second-hand parts are covered only if specified.
Voetstoots (as-is) items carry no warranty.
SOFTWARE & WINDOWS UPDATE DISCLAIMER
Due to the frequency and unpredictability of Microsoft Windows updates, Evolve I.T. cannot guarantee the long-term stability of software installations after setup is completed. New issues that arise as a result of system updates, driver changes, or Windows feature upgrades will not be covered under the original service warranty, and any additional time required to resolve such issues will be billed separately at our standard support rates. Customers are encouraged to ensure automatic updates are configured correctly and to reach out to us before installing major updates or third-party software that may interfere with system stability.

All costs are based on:
Parts + sourcing markup | Labour time | Diagnostic effort
Full payment is required before any equipment is released.
7-DAY RETURN POLICY
Returns are accepted on unused items within 7 days:
Original packaging | All accessories included | Proof of purchase required
No returns on installed parts, software, or second-hand goods.
POWER & SURGE DAMAGE
Due to load shedding, lightning, and power surges:
No warranty can be provided on boards or electronics damaged by power issues.
Please use UPS or surge protectors.
REPAIR RISKS & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Repairs are done at customer’s risk.
We are not responsible for:
Underlying faults surfacing later
Unrelated part failures post-repair
Data loss (unless backup was requested)
All known issues must be declared before repair.
LIMITED LIABILITY
We are not liable for:
Theft, break-ins, or public unrest. Fire, flood, or natural disaster | Data loss or theft on uncollected items
